A Lithuanian consumer purchased shoes worth 730 euros from a Greek online store.
Two consumers from Spain and Poland made online purchases with a total value of 376.34 euros and 567 euros, respectively, from a Greek store selling clothes, toys and accessories inspired by popular comic and movie heroes. The products were taking too long to be delivered and, so, the consumers requested the refund of their money, which however the company did not accept.
After many months of waiting, the consumers appealed to their European Consumer Centres, which forwarded the cases to the European Consumer Centre of Greece for handling. Thanks to the mediation of ECC-Greece, the store acknowledged its obligations and proceeded to the due refunds.
