Acceptance of product return request and credit of the purchase amount
A Cypriot consumer purchased car spare parts from an online Greek store. However, he changed his mind and returned them after the 14-day cooling-off period of the right of withdrawal had expired, but having previously agreed to do so with the trader. Nevertheless, upon receipt of the products, the trader didn’t honour the agreement and refused to refund the money to the consumer.
ECC-GR took up the case and, through its effective mediation, succeeded in satisfying the consumer’s request.
